Light is natural and artificial. Light is poetry and art. Form and materiality reveal themselves in light. Our architectural approach is the backbone in our creative thinking in order to shape the dynamic relationship between light, time and space in a fluent design vocabulary. Light promotes well-being and triggers emotions. Our technical knowledge ensures conscious feasible solutions that have a positive impact in the environments we inhabit. Light tells a story. We like to share our passion about light, broaden our knowledge and sharpen our skills attending conferences and contributing to the professional press.

Matina Magklara, MArch, MSc

Studio Principal

Matina Magklara is an independent lighting designer and a qualified architect. Matina started exploring light as an element of spatial design during her studies in architecture. Since then, she is fascinated by the power of light to transform space, define the visual perception and create emotional response. Every day she explores the potentials of light to express new ideas and she collaborates with creative and technical people to bring them to life. Matina is grateful for waking up every day and practicing what she loves. She has a dream that one day she will ride a light ray.

Team

Our unique solutions and meticulous implementation arise from dynamic, engaged collaborations between people who are passionate about their work. Our team composes of talented and motivated designers from a variety of design-related disciplines with backgrounds that span from architecture, interior and industrial design to media and graphics. Everyone involved in the creative process contributes with innovative ideas and techical expertise that enrich the procedure and outcome of a wide variety of projects. Clarity, consciousness and commitment characterizes what we do.
